Former Alabama DB Jordan Battle grabs pick-6 off Anthony Richardson
Former Alabama defensive back Jordan Battle is gearing up for his 2nd NFL season. On Thursday Night Football, he delivered a spark in the preseason action and a good sign for the year ahead.
Playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, Battle and the defense were facing off against the Indianapolis Colts and former Florida star Anthony Richardson. The Colts scored an early touchdown in the game, but Battle provided an answer toward the end of the 1st quarter.
Backed up against his own end zone, Richardson tried to force one throw on 2nd-and-10. The ball was off the mark and Battle was already jumping the route, leading to a swift interception and wide-open path to a pick-6.
