Former Alabama defensive back Kareem Jackson was claimed by the Houston Texans off of waivers, which is where he spent the 2010-2018 seasons. He racked up 468 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 16 interceptions over that span.

The former Crimson Tide DB was suspended twice and fined during the 2023 season for illegal hits, leading to him being waived by the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.

Jackson spend the 2019-2023 seasons with the Broncos and was a mainstay in the secondary rotation. He recorded 268 total tackles and 6 interceptions during that time, transitioning to safety after having played cornerback in Houston.
