Former Alabama DL Isaiah Buggs was a sixth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2019 NFL Draft.

The ex-Crimson Tide standout has recorded 31 tackles (2 for a loss), a pass breakup and a QB hit over 29 games in which he’s appeared the past 3 seasons.

But, now, it appears the Steelers are moving on, as NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday that Buggs was being waived by the team:

The Steelers visit Baltimore on Sunday with a chance to clinch a playoff berth. But, Buggs will instead start the hunt for a new NFL squad.

Buggs was a member of Alabama’s 2017 title-winning team and was a second-team All-SEC selection in 2018.
