Former Alabama linebacker Jamey Mosley has rejoined the New York Jets. The team announced on Friday that he was signed on a practice squad deal.

Mosley joined the Jets as an undrafted rookie in May before being released on Oct. 7. With injuries and promotions on the roster, Mosley is now back with the team. Each NFL team can have a practice squad of 10 players, although they cannot appear in games.

Jamey is the younger brother of C.J. Mosley, who is also a member of the New York Jets. C.J. is currently rehabbing a groin injury and will not return to the field until December.

Both the Mosley’s hail from Mobile, Ala and attended Theodore High School. While C.J. was an All-American at Alabama, Jamey walked on to Alabama in a reserve role. As a junior, he appeared in 13 games, making 3 starts. Mosley recorded thirteen tackles with one sack as a junior and 8 tackles with one sack as a senior.

At 1-6, the Jets travel to play the winless Dolphins on Sunday.
