Former Alabama OL, Ohio State center Seth McLaughlin enjoys cigar as Buckeyes beat Tennessee

Former Alabama and current Ohio State center Seth McLaughlin is out for the year with an Achilles injury, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to enjoy the big wins of Ohio State.
After the 42-17 win against Tennessee on Saturday in the first round of the College Football Playoff, McLaughlin was seen enjoying a cigar on the field on the Third Saturday in December. McLaughlin was part of Alabama’s last Third Saturday in October cigar celebration for the 34-20 win over Tennessee in 2023.
McLaughlin is one of the very best centers in all of college football, as he was won the Rimington Trophy in the 2024 season. This award is given to the best center in all of college football, as he beat out Tennessee’s Cooper Mays and Western Michigan’s Jacob Gideon.
Before he was at Ohio State, he played in 35 games at Alabama, including 24 starts at the center position. He played in 3 CFP games for the Crimson Tide, including the game against Michigan last season.
While he wasn’t able to play in the game against Tennessee, he is still a big part of the team and he is going to celebrate when the team is successful. Up next is a huge matchup against Oregon in a rematch of one of the best games of the season. The winner will advance to the CFP semifinals, and McLaughlin may just have another celebration in store.
