The Alabama Crimson Tide are an offensive juggernaut this season, and that continued on Saturday in a 48-17 rout of Tennessee.

The key to the offensive explosion is QB Mac Jones, who has filled in seamlessly for Tua Tagovailoa and has perhaps taken the offense to another level.

After completing his 11th pass in a row to start the game on Saturday, Jones stretched his streak of completions to 17 in a row, dating back to last weekend vs. Georgia. That broke Greg McElroy’s school record for most passes completed in a row.

Here’s what McElroy had to say on Twitter about Jones’s record-breaking performance:

Jones is firmly in the Heisman Trophy race this season. Against the Vols, he threw for 387 yards and ran for a touchdown.

How many more records can Jones break this year?
