Levi Wallace’s time in free agency did not last long. The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they have re-signed the former Alabama defensive back.

The news came hours after it was reported that the Bills did not tender Wallace as a restricted free agent, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Wallace, a former walk-on who eventually earned a scholarship at Alabama, originally joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2018. In three seasons playing for the Bills, Wallace has recorded 4 interceptions, 20 passes defended, 161 total tackles and 6 tackles for loss. He has started in 35 regular-season games and 3 playoff contests.

Last season, Wallace started 12 games, logging 2 interceptions, 48 tackles, 9 passes defended and a TFL.
