Charlie Potter of 247Sports broke the news via Twitter on Wednesday.

Here’s what Byrne had to say on the matter:

“We’ve been looking at other options for basketball arena,” said Byrne. “We’re gonna see if we’re fortunate enough to have some success on the fundraising side, to look and do what’s best for our program. whatever that may be.”

The current arena, Coleman Coliseum, was supposed to get an upgrade in 2020. However, the plans were halted by COVID-19. It’ll be interesting to see what the team ends up doing in the future.
