Henry Ruggs III has had his preliminary court hearing rescheduled yet again.

The former Alabama wide receiver has been charged in Nevada for being at fault in an automobile accident that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old woman and her dog.

Ruggs III has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a prohibited substance, resulting in death and/or substantial bodily harm, as well as possession of a gun while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, per AL.com.

Per police reports, Ruggs III’s Corvette was traveling at 127 MPH at the time of impact.

The preliminary hearing, which is now set for October 12, has been postponed 5 times.

Ruggs III was a 1st round draft pick of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020. He recorded 50 catches for 921 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2 seasons with the Raiders before being released following the fatal accident.

In 3 seasons with the Crimson Tide, Ruggs III hauled in 98 receptions for 1,716 yards, and 24 touchdowns.
