Larry Fitzgerald is one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. So, if a player receives a compliment from the Arizona Cardinals veteran, it’s certainly high praise.

This past Sunday, when the Cardinals hosted the Atlanta Falcons, Fitzgerald gave a huge compliment to one of the players on the opposing sideline.

Fitzgerald was mic’d up by NFL Films, and in a video tweeted by SportsCenter on Thursday, the receiver is seen telling Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray all about Falcons receiver Julio Jones. Jones, who played at Alabama from 2008-10, has been a key piece of Atlanta’s offense since getting drafted in 2011.

“He’s the best I’ve ever seen. I’m serious,” Fitzgerald said in the clip. “He’s so explosive. He’s got no weaknesses. No weakness to his name.”

Considering Fitzgerald ranks second in NFL history in receptions (1,338) and receiving yards (16,706), he likely does a good job evaluating fellow receivers. In Sunday’s game, Jones had eight receptions for 108 yards, so Fitzgerald turned out to be right on that day.

Through six games this season, Jones has 34 receptions for 467 yards and four touchdowns. It’s been another strong start for the 30-year-old veteran who continues to be one of the top receivers in the NFL.
