Alabama and Auburn in the Iron Bowl rarely seems to disappoint fans, and boy did it deliver in amazing fashion on Saturday. On the 10-year anniversary of the “Kick-6,” Alabama got one of its best wins every in the Iron Bowl. Facing a 4th and goal from the Auburn 31, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe converted a pass to Isaiah Bond, who got both feet in the back of the endzone.

The game was on CBS, and fans were provided after the game a video that exemplified the difference between winning and losing the game.

Milroe finished the game with 259 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, while also rushing for 107 yards. Bond had 5 catches for 75 yards and that 1 touchdown.

The win was huge for Alabama, as the Crimson Tide remain in contention to make the College Football Playoff. Alabama will play Georgia next week in the SEC Championship, and will have a very good argument to be in with a win.

Last week, Auburn lost at home to New Mexico State by a score of 31-10. While the loss will still sting, Saturday’s loss shows that Auburn has definitely taken a step in the right direction as the team moves to the future. The Tigers will be playing in a bowl, as they finish the regular season with a record of 6-6.
