Isaiah Bond and Alabama got off to a glorious start to begin the 2nd half, as the Crimson Tide again leaned on a big pass play, Jalen Milroe’s trademark.

Bond broke free over the middle and found space in the Tennessee secondary to score from 46 yards out, as the Tide narrowed the deficit to 20-14. It was a quick 2-play drive as Alabama made a dent in its largest halftime deficit of the season.

It was Bond’s 2nd catch of the day and gave him 57 yards receiving in the game.

The play was setup by a a 29-yard run from Jase McClellan as Alabama got exactly what it needed to begin the 2nd half.

It was Alabama’s longest play of the game, and 4th play of at least 17 yards. They’ve all been passes from Milroe.

Milroe is now 11-for-15 passing for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception.
