Alabama is on pace to sign the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, which is essentially an annual ritual for coach Nick Saban.

The Crimson Tide welcomed another committment Tuesday with defensive end Isaiah Buggs, who is the No. 4 junior-college prospect in America. He’s also the No. 1 player at his position and No. 1 in the state of Louisiana.

That being said, remember that Tennessee defensive end Jonathan Kongbo was the top-rated JUCO recruit for the class of 2016. His arrival in Knoxville was greeted with a lot of fanfare, yet he recorded only 7 tackles — just one behind the line of scrimmage, too — and didn’t have a sack this past season.

Be sure to watch the video above for some quick commentary on Buggs and whether or not he can be a difference maker in Tuscaloosa.
