The nation’s No. 1 defensive lineman won’t be picking the Crimson Tide.

That’s the latest update in the recruitment of five-star 2021 prospect J.T. Tuimoloau, who still has yet to decide where he will play his college football and was scheduled to visit Tuscaloosa this weekend — but those plans have changed.

The Washington native recently shared the latest on his recruitment with 247Sports, noting that he’s down to Ohio State, Oregon, Washington and USC. Tuimoloau delayed his decision in order to officially visit his final five schools.

Tuimoloau has taken official visits to Ohio State, Oregon, Washington and USC this month and was scheduled to visit Alabama this weekend.

Tuimoloau is the only five-star prospect from the 2021 recruiting cycle that has yet to sign with a college. Once his decision is made, Tuimoloau will be able to enroll immediately in anticipation of the upcoming college football season.

The 6-foot-4, 277-pound Tuimoloau is rated as the nation’s No. 3 overall prospect and the No. 1 defensive lineman in the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
