The highest-rated receiver from the state of Florida has made his decision, he’s playing in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game.

Of course, we are referring to Miami native Jacorey Brooks, who announced his commitment to the high school all-star event on Thursday.

Back in early May, Brooks committed to Alabama as the highest-rated member of the Crimson Tide’s 2021 recruiting class. Now he’s rated as the second-highest rated prospect of the group behind offensive lineman, JC Latham. Both recruits are rated as five-star prospects.

It’s no surprise to see Brooks make the cut for the 2021 Under Armour Game as he recorded 99 catches for 1,281 yards and 18 touchdowns during his junior season at Booker T. Washington High School in Miami.

Following in the footsteps of Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley and Jerry Jeudy from the Sunshine State, Brooks is the next south Florida native prepared to suit up for Nick Saban’s Alabama program.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound recruit from Booker T. Washington High School is rated as the No. 27 overall recruit in the country, the No. 2 receiver and Florida’s No. 5 overall prospect in the current recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
