What a role reversal for Jalen Hurts.
Alabama’s true freshman quarterback played scout team quarterback to simulate Clemson’s Deshaun Watson when his teammates were preparing for last year’s CFP championship game. But now he’s the one being scouted
LSU true freshman quarterback Lindsey Scott is playing the role of Hurts in practice this week, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger.

Hurts, a true freshman himself, was an early enrollee last spring, which enabled him to participate with the scout team.
Though Scott is four inches shorter than Hurts, his athleticism should help him serve as a suitable version of the Crimson Tide signal-caller. Alabama’s quarterback has accumulated 20 total touchdowns and more than 2,000 total yards this year.
