Jalen Hurts is having a season to remember. The former Alabama quarterback’s latest milestone ties him with a former MVP.

During Saturday night’s NFC Divisional Playoff clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, Hurts rushed for his 14th touchdown of the 2022 campaign.

While the NFL separates regular-season and postseason statistics, Hurts’ 14 combined rushing TDs for the year ties him with Cam Newton as the all-time NFL leader, as Cole Cubelic pointed out on social media.

It looks like Hurts will have plenty more opportunities to get rushing TD No. 15. If it doesn’t come in the 3rd or 4th quarter of Saturday’s game, the Eagles look to be moving on to the NFC Championship. Philadelphia leads New York 28-0 at the half.

Hurts put on a show in the first 2 quarters, recording 259 yards of offense while accounting for 3 scores. The game is airing on FOX.
