Alabama has claimed the lead against Georgia in the SEC Championship.

After the Bulldogs struck first, the Tide got on the board on a 43-yard field goal. After Alabama’s defense forced a punt, the Bulldogs pinned the Tide deep in their own territory.

Jalen Milroe then went to work, mountain a 92-yard touchdown drive. Alabama marched down the field on a plethora of passes and a few short runs, plus the help of a facemask penalty.

Then, Milroe connected with Jam Miller on a perfectly drawn wheel route, scoring on the 28-yard pass to give the Tide a 10-7 lead.

It was a positive sign for Alabama after a stagnant start offensively. Now, the Tide are looking for a stop on defense to get the ball back in the hands of their hot offense.
