Jameson Williams has been a key player for Alabama all year after transferring from Ohio State, leading the Tide in big plays.
He was limited in the Cotton Bowl against Cincinnati on New Year’s Eve, but was back and ready to go for Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
Unfortunately for Williams and Alabama, disaster struck in the second quarter, as Williams went down with a scary-looking leg injury on a non-contact play:

Williams had just made a huge catch down the middle of the field to get the Tide into Georgia territory. But, right now, there’s plenty of concern about whether or not he’ll be able to continue in this game.
He wasn’t able to put any weight on his leg getting off the field. He was shown walking under his own power to the locker room shortly thereafter, though.
