Jaylen Waddle reportedly exited Miami Dolphins practice Wednesday after suffering an injury to his right midsection.
The Dolphins are currently holding joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons. According to ProFootballTalk, Waddle went down after making a catch during team drills. He was favoring his right side, though he was able to walk off the field under his own power.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel addressed media prior to the kickoff of the joint practice, so it may be a while before we get an official update on Waddle’s status.

It’s not overstating it to say Waddle is already one of the best young receivers in the league. After being selected No. 6 overall out of Alabama in the 2021 NFL Draft, Waddle has posted back-to-back 1,000 yard receiving seasons.
Last year Waddle totaled 75 receptions for 1,356 yards and 8 touchdowns.
