Jermaine Burton transferred from Georgia to Alabama over the weekend, giving the Crimson Tide an impact receiver to pair with reigning Heisman-winning QB Bryce Young in 2022.

However, some weren’t happy with Burton leaving Athens for Tuscaloosa, including former Georgia (and current Kansas City Chiefs) WR Mecole Hardman.

Hardman called out Burton on his Instagram page on Monday, and Burton responded via Twitter, saying it’s his career and no one else’s:

Burton figures to be a top target for Young and the Tide this coming fall.

During his Georgia career, Burton recorded 53 catches for 901 yards and 8 touchdowns over the course of 2 seasons.
