Star Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy has already announced he’ll play in the upcoming Citrus Bowl against Michigan.

That’s a surprising decision, as Jeudy is widely expected to be a top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, he said he wants to finish what he started with the Tide.

On Thursday, Jeudy addressed that decision, as well as providing an update on his timeline for a draft decision:

“I know some people probably think we should sit out but we really weren’t listening to what other people had to say,” he said. “We already know what we came here to do and finish doing.”

As for his draft decision, he said he was focused on the Citrus Bowl, but would decide his future afterwards:

“After this game, I’ll decide all that,” he said.

He’s probably heading to the draft, but for now, it seems he is truly focusing all his attention on the bowl game.
