Jerry Jeudy suffered what looked to be a serious injury on Sunday for the Denver Broncos against the New York Giants.

But according to a report from NFL Media, Jeudy’s injury was a high ankle sprain as X-rays were negative. The former Alabama wide receiver left the game when he was carted off the field.

Against the Giants, he made 6 receptions for 72 yards, which led the team in yards, and was targeted 7 times.

Jeudy is in his second season with Denver. He was the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and last season had 52 catches for 856 yards and 3 touchdowns as a rookie. His 2021 season was off to a strong start before the injury.
