While many punters around the nation suffer from a lack of respect, that could never have been said when it comes to the love Alabama fans displayed to JK Scott during his time in Tuscaloosa.

Now a member of the Green Bay Packers, Alabama’s special teams unit hasn’t been the same without the services of the former All-American punter on the roster in Tuscaloosa.

While JK Scott isn’t eligible to return to Tuscaloosa, Nick Saban’s program has the next best thing — they added Charlie Scott to the roster this offseason.

Yes, that’s JK’s younger brother — who also happens to be a punter.

Charlie Scott previously served as the punter at Air Force, starting 18 games the previous two seasons. Scott also had experience holding for Air Force.

This season in Tuscaloosa, Scott will wear the No. 85 jersey for Alabama.

Here is to hoping the Scott family has another punter ready to send to Tuscaloosa when Charlie’s eligibility runs out at Alabama.
