Joel Klatt apologizes for viral interview where Kayvon Thibodeaux took a shot at Alabama education

Joel Klatt interviewed Oregon star DL Kayvon Thibodeaux recently, and the potential No. 1 overall 2022 NFL Draft pick angered many in Alabama.
While explaining why he chose the Ducks over the Crimson Tide, Thibodeaux took a shot at Alabama education.
Naturally, that didn’t sit well with many in the Yellowhammer State, and on Wednesday night, after the comments from Thibodeaux went viral, Klatt took to Twitter to apologize for not questioning the Oregon star more:

Obviously, Thibodeaux won’t be the most popular guy in Alabama anytime soon. We’ll see where he ends up going in the 2022 NFL Draft.
