Joel Klatt has nothing but superlatives for Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.

The Fox Sports college football analyst and former quarterback at the University of Colorado, is impressed by Young’s mechanics, release and poise among other things.

“The more that I watch him operate the system at Alabama, which is a very NFL-style system with what they did under Steve Sarkisian and now Bill O’Brien, the more I’m impressive with his ability to make quick decisions, his ability to manipulate the pocket, stay calm under pressure and then have one of the quickest releases I’ve ever seen, regardless of platform, and throw accurately down the field.”

Young threw for five touchdown passes in Alabama’s 55-0 win over Utah State in Week 1. He is considered one of the top two quarterback prospects for the 2023 NFL Draft along with Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud.

Do you think that Young can pass over Stroud and be the first quarterback taken in the 2023 Draft? Could he win a second Heisman trophy, joining Archie Griffin?
