Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne saw their frustrations boil over on Sunday during the first half of the Washington Football Team’s game at the Dallas Cowboys.

Allen and Payne were no doubt upset because their team trailed the Dallas Cowboys 28-7 with more than 6 minutes remaining in the first half. As they talked on the bench, Payne pointed at Allen, who then stood up and threw a punch toward Payne.

Michelle Tafoya of NBC Sports reported that, “it seemed like Payne was extremely upset at Allen. Sam Mills, the defensive line coach, had to calm both of them down. Now they’re out there trying to play together.”

While Allen and Payne are former Alabama players, another former Crimson Tide player, Trevon Diggs, made a splash earlier in the game with his 11th interception of the season, which tied him for the franchise single-season record.
