Alabama QB Bryce Young has been incredible so far this year. He’s one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy and has quickly developed into a superstar.

He can make any throw and can keep plays alive in the pocket with his legs. He can even run (though he hasn’t shown much of that yet this year).

Who does that sound like? Well, according to SEC Network analyst Jordan Rodgers, it remind him of his brother — reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers:

“There’s a lot of similarities there,” Rodgers said. “Mechanics, especially their lower-body mechanics. The way they flip the ball. Both their feet come off the ground a lot of times as they’re ripping their lower body through the throw to create velocity. And accuracy. … I’ve watched him on film, and 12 on film, a whole lot and there are a ton of similarities.”

That’s quite the compliment for the young Alabama QB. We’ll see if Young can continue to live up to it! So far, so good!
