Former Alabama golfer Justin Thomas has joined other PGA golfers by honoring Tiger Woods in the same way on Sunday as they get set to tee off in the final round of the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession in Bradenton, Florida.

Thomas, who is close friends with Woods, tweeted, “Seemed fitting for tomorrow after the kind of week we’ve had… Black and red on Sunday for TW!”

Woods, 45, was involved in a serious one-car rollover accident near Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. The 15-time major champion’s car rolled over multiple times as Woods suffered major injuries to his legs. Woods was moved Thursday from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for “continuing orthopedic care and recovery.”

A message posted to Woods’ Twitter account on Friday said that he received follow-up procedures on his injuries and he is “now recovering and in good spirits.”

Along with Thomas, Rory McElroy and Patrick Reed are among the golfers wearing red in honor of Woods’ trademark Sunday look, which is a red shirt and black pants.
