Kadyn Proctor played every snap in the Rose Bowl for the Alabama Crimson Tide despite nursing a serious injury, per reports. The freshman left tackle tore a ligament in his right ankle last week.

While an injury like this would usually result in missing at least one game, Proctor didn’t even miss a single snap.

“Trying to treat it all week,” Proctor said after Alabama’s 27-20 overtime loss to Michigan in the College Football Playoff semifinal game. “Today, tried to shoot it up. It felt good. It felt good today, played the whole game. I’m proud I played the whole game with me injured.

The injury apparently happened when a teammate fell on him during practice. Per Proctor, this is a “short-term” injury and he will be ready for spring practice.
The Tide’s offensive line struggled against a ferocious Michigan pass rush. The Wolverines ended the day with 6 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. The Wolverines won the game 27-20 in overtime after the Tide failed to score to keep the game going on 4th down.
