Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama Crimson Tide have heard a lot of criticism in the first season of the post Nick Saban-era. They entered November with 2 losses for the first time since 2007, while fans and analysts have been critical of a lack of discipline and execution by the Crimson Tide.

The Crimson Tide were on a bye last week, but had their most dominating performance of the year by beating Missouri 34-0 two weeks.

As his team prepares for a tough road game at LSU this weekend, DeBoer talks about his team being able to handle the adversity.

“Every day and every play literally we are going to continue to improve and that is the goal,” DeBoer said. “Their buy-in to that and their belief that will happen and then putting forth an effort that it continues to evolve. That is what I appreciate about the guys. There is a resiliency that comes along with it. We have shown some perseverance, whether or it is in the midst of a game and the fight we have. Or, just the week-to-week ups and downs that any team in college football, especially a team in the SEC goes through.”

The game this weekend against LSU is a huge game. In SEC play, Alabama is 3-0 at home, but 0-2 on the road. If the Crimson Tide are going to the College Football Playoff, they have to get a win this weekend.
