One of the defining plays of the NFL season came in Miami, when Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake ended up with the ball on a last-second play and scored the game-winning touchdown.

The play has been dubbed “The Miami Miracle,” and Drake, a former Alabama star, was the hero of the game, outracing New England TE Rob Gronkowski for the end zone.

On Saturday night, that play was honored at the NFL awards show as the Play of the Year award winner:

Obviously, the play didn’t hurt the Patriots too much, as they are playing for a Super Bowl title on Sunday while the Dolphins didn’t even make the postseason.

Still, it’s one of the plays that Miami fans (and New England fans) will remember for years and years to come.
