Keon Ellis, a departing senior guard at Alabama, has solidified his plans for the NBA Draft with a Sunday announcement.

Ellis, who made the All-SEC Defensive team, and was the only Alabama player who started all 33 games, was announced as a client of EZ Sports Group, an NBA agency.

Ellis was at the top of the SEC in multiple categories.

He ranked as the Tide’s top player with a plus-minus of +87 – an average of 9.4 per 40 minutes which ranked sixth-best in the SEC. He also led the Crimson Tide in rebounding (6.1 rpg), 3-point field goal percentage (36.6 percent), steals (1.9 spg), free throw percentage (88.1 percent), deflections (126), Hard Hat Awards (12) and Blue Collar Points (506.5). Ellis also led the SEC and ranked 24th nationally in free-throw percentage and ranked eighth in the league in threes made per game (2.0).

Ellis had several big games for Alabama, including 19 games in double-digits, 17 games in which he led the team in steals and 10 times he led the Crimson Tide in rebounding

One of his best games was when he poured in a career-best 28 points on 7-of-11 shooting from 3-point range, also career-best marks, to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals at then-No. 5 Kentucky in February.
