Could Florida State and Alabama play each other twice next season?

That’s what ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit thinks.

Herbie was asked on Twitter on Friday night who he thinks are the favorites to win next year’s college football championship and he named the Seminoles and the Crimson Tide:

Of course, Alabama and Florida State will meet at the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to kick off the 2017 season on Saturday, Sept. 2.

One team, naturally, will have to lose, but Herbie thinks that whoever takes that loss can rebound into a national-title contender before the end of the season.
