Kirk Herbstreit reveals what worries him about Alabama’s chances to beat Auburn

Alabama is the new No. 1 team in the College Football Playoff rankings that were released on Tuesday night, but that doesn’t mean the Crimson Tide are perfect.
They’re far from it, in fact, especially after needing a late comeback to beat Mississippi State on the road last weekend.
As the Tide gear up for the Iron Bowl in two weeks, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit thinks there’s one big area Alabama needs to improve to avoid losing against Auburn.
On Tuesday’s show, he said Auburn’s pass rush should be a big focus for Alabama OC Brian Daboll and his offensive line.
“I’m more concerned with Alabama’s pass protection than anything else,” he said. “Kevin Steele can dial up a pass rush at Auburn.”
Whatever happens this weekend, next weekend’s Iron Bowl will decide the SEC West, and potentially a spot in the Playoff. It’s safe to say both teams will be ready to give their best efforts at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
