Kirk Herbstreit's reacts to Jalen Hurts' decision to transfer to Oklahoma
The Alabama Crimson Tide lost backup QB Jalen Hurts to Oklahoma on Wednesday, and everyone is sharing their takes on it.
Hurts will be tasked with leading a dynamic Oklahoma offense in 2019, and there’s no reason to think he won’t have success in Norman.
Shortly after the news became public, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on the news, saying Alabama fans should forever remember Hurts and his contributions to the team in a positive light:
Congratulations Jalen for doing this on your terms. Alabama fans should be thankful to you forever. Class act under tough circumstances. Kept your teams dreams alive by your performance on a BIG stage in Atlanta. Incredible!
Wish you all the best in Norman. https://t.co/qN5cxZyug6— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) January 16, 2019
Indeed, Hurts handled everything the right way in Tuscaloosa, and Crimson Tide fans absolutely loved him.
It’s safe to say Bama fans will be watching him closely with the Sooners this fall, but if he meets the Tide in the College Football Playoff, all bets are off.
