Former Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin, who mutually parted ways with the school on Monday, is known for being a master Twitter troll (just ask Tennessee and USC fans).

However, it’s tough to read into exactly what he meant by his latest tweet, in which he posted a graphic of Bo Scarbrough’s record-setting rushing stats from Saturday’s Peach Bowl:

Scarbrough’s 180-yard outburst against the Washington Huskies set an Alabama bowl game record and helped the Crimson Tide earn a 24-7 victory.

Based on Kiffin’s Monday appearance on the Paul Finebaum Show, though, it’s tough to read the timing of the tweet as a shot at Nick Saban, who was seen yelling at Kiffin on the sideline Saturday.

Though it’s still a possibility that Kiffin could have meant it as a parting shot to his former school, it could also simply be an outgoing congratulations to a talented back. Or, possibly, he wants to showcase what players can accomplish under his tutelage as a recruiting tool for FAU, his new school.

What do you think he meant with his oddly timed message?
