Looks like Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin have something new to disagree about the next time they speak.

Despite their massive success together, the two coaches obviously never saw eye-to-eye on several topics during their time in Tuscaloosa so it’s no real surprise to see the two head coaches disagree on the latest hot topic to come out of Alabama.

If you missed it over the weekend, the latest Saban rant occurred when the Alabama coach was asked about all the early defections his program has suffered to the NFL in recent seasons and how much that affects his football program. That was enough to set Saban off a bit.

Without calling out Ronnie Harrison’s name, Saban called out the decision the Jaguar defensive back out made when he was still at Alabama and decided to come out early for the NFL.

“Now, we have guys that have no draft grades, seventh-round grades, free-agent grades, fifth-round grades that are going out to the draft. And the person that loses in that is the player,” Saban said over the weekend during his most recent media availability. “If you’re a third-round draft pick, and we had one here last year — I’m not going to say any names — goes and starts for his team, so he’s making third-round money, which is not that great.

“He’d be the first guy taken at his position this year, probably, and make $15-18 million more. So, the agent makes out, the club makes out, and now they’ve got a guy that is going to play for that kind of money for three more years, aight.”

Harrison found out about Saban’s comments and fired back some of his own. Following those words, Kiffin was decided to weigh in with his own, which seem to support Harrison’s decision to come out.
