Despite signing with the Crimson Tide back in November, it does not look like Langston Wilson will be suiting up for Alabama.

On Monday, the junior college signee asked Alabama to release him from his National Letter of Intent in order to reopen his recruitment.

The 6-foot-9, 200-pound forward was ranked as the No. 2 junior college prospect in the country for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Alabama currently has the SEC’s No. 1 recruiting class and a top 3 class nationally after signing five-star guard JD Davison, four-star Georgia forward Jusaun Holt, and Wilson.

The Crimson Tide also holds a commitment from four-star center, Charles Bediako. The program has landed commitments from Furman transfer Noah Gurley and Texas Tech transfer, Nimari Burnett.
