At least one Las Vegas sportsbook has a strong interest in the outcome of Wednesday’s Citrus Bowl. Caesars Palace sportsbook stands to win big on point spread bets if Michigan covers against Alabama.

ESPN Chalk’s David Payne Purdum reports that 87 percent of spread bets and 81 percent of spread money is on Alabama -7.5. Meanwhile, 88.1 percent of money is on the total score to go over 60.5 points.

Under Nick Saban, it has been rare for Alabama to not make a BCS Championship or College Football Playoff bowl game. The Crimson Tide notably lost “consolation prize” Sugar Bowl matchups against Utah (31-17) and Oklahoma (45-31) in the BCS era. UA fans are hoping that Saban’s squad turns in another strong performance in Orlando. Alabama beat Michigan State 49-7 in the Capital One Bowl (briefly used name for the Citrus Bowl) after the 2010 season.

Saban has appeared to be mostly pleased with the focus and buy-in from Alabama players leading up to this year’s Citrus Bowl. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
