Lee Corso is a staple on ESPN’s pregame show College GameDay, and since the beginning of the 2021 season, he’s been proclaiming that Alabama won’t win the national title. Furthermore, since the narrow 31-29 win over Florida, Corso has only ratcheted up that discussion.

On Saturday, Corso sent a message to Alabama on College GameDay by saying, “Alabama is beatable. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.”

Well, he is sticking to it, because in a video shared by Kirk Herbstreit, Corso took it a step further and identified 2 potential upset games for Alabama: Ole Miss or Texas A&M.

“Well, the question is this — was Florida that good or is Alabama vulnerable,” Corso said. “In the second half, Alabama was not physical and that’s what happened. Florida should have won that game.

“Tell you what, Alabama’s very vulnerable. One of the two weeks, either Mississippi or Texas A&M. That’s my prediction.”

Of course, Corso’s comments came before Alabama romped Southern Miss and Arkansas dismantled Texas A&M, handing the Aggies their first loss. Still, Corso’s prediction for Ole Miss could still happen — Texas A&M is highly unlikely to happen at this point, as the Rebels offense can score with Alabama’s offense led by quarterback Matt Corral.

The good news is we’ll find out next week just how vulnerable Alabama is against Lane Kiffin and the Rebels.
