Lee Corso began College Gameday with his thoughts on Alabama. His sentiments might not sit well in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The ESPN analyst said, “Alabama is beatable. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.”

Corso certainly carries some weight so when the longtime analyst makes a claim, especially about the top-ranked Crimson Tide, it is significant. Those thoughts have been expressed by several this week after Alabama had to hold on to beat Florida 31-29 last week in Gainesville.

Bama won’t likely be beaten this week as they host Southern Miss at 7:30 EST. Things get tougher after that. The Crimson Tide will host No. 13 Ole Miss next week then travel to Texas A&M and Mississippi State in the following weeks.

The Florida game has many analysts questioning Alabama’s dominance, which was so thorough last year. In 2020, Bama won with an explosive offense as it went 13-0 and won the national championship. Make no mistake, Alabama has still looked very good this season but maybe not quite as dominant as last year, at least that’s what Corso thinks.
