What a start it has been for the Alabama Crimson Tide — they’re 4-0, the No. 1 team in the country and look unstoppable.
Naturally, that has coach Nick Saban upset, as it’s hard to find negativity to motivate this year’s dominant squad.
On ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM on Monday, host Chris Childers was joined by Rick Neuheisel and said he was stunned by the coach’s pleas for negativity:
Nick Saban and @AlabamaFTBL didn't make history with their 45-23 win over Texas A&M, but to @ChildersRadio and @CoachNeuheisel, the postgame press conference did.

“Coaches typically hate the negativity,” Childers says. “They’re always talking to their team, saying don’t read that kind of stuff — it’s going to be bad, it’s going to affect your head. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
“Not Nicky boy. Not Lord Saban. He is begging on his hands and knees — ‘Hey guys, please say something bad. Write something awful. You’re just too nice to us.'”
It feels like another Saban rant is building. We’ll have to pay attention to see what sets the legendary coach off next.
