Josh Jacobs had a stellar NFL debut for the Oakland Raiders Monday night.

Jacobs became the first NFL rookie to record over 100 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in his debut. So, naturally, he’s getting some big press this week around the country.

The Dan Patrick Show had Jacobs on Friday morning, and the show shared a clip from his visit.

Patrick asked Jacobs the biggest difference between Jon Gruden, his current coach, and Nick Saban, his former coach.

“I think Jon is funnier than coach Saban,” Jacobs said laughing. “There’s a lot of similarities in the way they prepare and act to a certain extent. So, I’ll probably say that’s the biggest thing.”

Patrick then asked Jacobs his best Saban story.

“Saban likes to do a lot of Deez Nuts jokes,” Jacobs said. “It’s funny because I haven’t heard one of them since like middle school. When I went to college, Saban used to do it a lot.

“One day I caught like five passes in a row, and he was like, ‘Hey Josh, if you want to hold all of them balls, hold Deez.’ I said, ‘What, Coach?’ I sat there for a second and was like, ‘Did he really just say that to me?’

“I was like, ‘Coach, I ain’t heard that since middle school.’ … He’s funnier than you think he is.”
