LOOK: Fans go wild over Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts being on the field at the same time
Alabama’s offense has been a well-oiled machine this year, so now the Tide are switching things up a bit.
Against Arkansas on Saturday, backup QB Jalen Hurts entered the game, but starter Tua Tagovailoa didn’t leave.
Instead, the Tide had a package where Tagovailoa lined up at wide receiver, and another where Hurts took a handoff as a running back:

Naturally, Alabama fans loved seeing the two quarterbacks on the field at the same time. They took to Twitter in their excitement, as you can see below:
Tons of throws to the tight end and Jalen and Tua on the field at the same time? Locksley operating from the “summer sports radio” page of the playbook.

We’ll see if OC Mike Locksley gets the two talented players on the field at the same time more often moving forward.
