There’s always something to work on at Alabama, even in a game where the Crimson Tide largely coasted to a win at South Carolina.

The latest example was early in the fourth quarter when Will Reichard banged an extra point attempt off of an upright and missed the try. He earlier missed a 37-yard field goal attempt. He recovered after the PAT miss to make his next attempt.

But that miss sparked a stat shared by CBS that Alabama kickers have missed 98 extra point attempts since 2007, the most by any team.

It’s been an otherwise good start to the season for Reichard, who was 6-for-6 on PAT attempts against Duke, and was selected as one of the Alabama coaching staff’s special teams players of the week for his efforts against New Mexico State.
