Tua Tagovailoa has been impressive this season. And opposing coaches are taking notice as they prepare their teams to take on Alabama’s sophomore quarterback.

On Tuesday, LSU coach Ed Orgeron had strong praise for Tagovailoa as the Tigers get ready to face the Crimson Tide on Nov. 3.

“He is a very dangerous player,” Orgeron said, according to Scott Rabalais of The Advocate. “I believe he’s the best in the country right now.”

It’s hard to dispute that claim.

Tagovailoa has passed for 2,066 yards and 25 touchdowns with no interceptions. He also hasn’t played in a fourth quarter yet this season.

However, LSU’s defense will be the best that Alabama has faced this season.

Both Alabama and LSU are on a bye this week. The No. 1 Crimson Tide and No. 4 Tigers will face off on Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
