Wow.

Talk about a great way for a player to start his NFL career.

Former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson returned a pick-six against the Washington Redskins Thursday night. Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins dropped back to pass and tried to float a pass to his running back out of the backfield, and Wilson made an incredible interception and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown.

This is a moment he’ll never forget:

With Wilson’s instincts, ability and athleticism, he’ll be a solid contributor for the Browns’ defense.

Wilson was once thought to be a top-round NFL Draft prospect; however, he fell to the fifth round where the Brown drafted him after he left Alabama following his junior season.

The former Tide linebacker feels like a guy we’ll look back on and know he was drafted way too late for having so much talent. The Browns may have gotten a steal in the former Alabama backer.
