One of the nation’s fastest prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle has narrowed his options down to a few select schools.

On Wednesday evening, four-star receiver Malcolm Johnson announced his top eight schools consist of SEC programs Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Georgia as well as Maryland, Texas and USC outside the nation’s toughest football conference.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Johnson is rated as a four-star prospect, a top 200 overall recruit and the No. 38 receiver in the nation for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. In addition to his accolades on the high school gridiron, the Bryans Road, Maryland native excels on the St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes High School track team.

During a 2019 Nike camp, Johnson ran a verified 4.60 40-yard dash. He also lists himself as a track All-American on his Twitter profile.

In his latest high school season, Johnson caught 47 passes for 832 yards and seven touchdowns.
