Former Alabama star Mark Barron came up just short in his quest for a Super Bowl ring last year, as his Los Angeles Rams lost to the New England Patriots in the big game.

Now, he’s moved on to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the talented linebacker sees no reason why he can’t get back to that level again.

Speaking with AL.com, Barron said he’s enjoying the move to Pittsburgh so far and is eager to see what his new team can do this fall:

“Everything’s good,” Barron said of the move to Pittsburgh. “Everybody in the locker room’s good. The coaching staff’s good. The transition’s been smooth. It’s the second time I’ve had to make that transition. Even the first time I did it, it was smooth. This time around, it’s the same thing.

“The moment I stepped into the locker room, I felt welcome. Since that day, we’ve been working as a team, working as unit trying to get ready to go out and win another Super Bowl.

“I most definitely believe in my team. You don’t have a shot if you don’t really believe in yourself. I most definitely believe we can do it.”

Barron played in 12 games for the Rams during the regular season last year, recording 60 tackles and one sack. He was the No. 7 overall pick back in 2012.
